The International Film Music Critics Association (IFMCA) graced me with 3(!) nominations this year, including Breakthrough Composer of the Year, Best Original Score for a Comedy Film (An American Pickle, with themes by Michael Giacchino) and Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media (Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, also with themes by Michael). I’m super honoured to be included among such talented individuals!
EA’s Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, developed by Respawn Entertainment and Oculus, and directed by Peter Hirschmann, will be released on Dec 11th, 2020. The game takes the players right into the action in World War II- you’ll play as an Allied agent of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), tasked with infiltrating, outgunning, and outsmarting the Nazi war machine.
I had the incredible honor of working with Michael Giacchino again, writing the score using his iconic themes from the original Medal for Honor, as well as new ones. The score was recorded at Abbey Road Studios, and is set to be released by Lakeshore Records.
#AnAmericanPickle, starring Seth Rogen is officially released, and I couldn’t be happier with the film and its kosher score. An American Pickle is showing now on HBO Max (or in theatres, if you’re in the UK). The soundtrack album by WaterTower Music is available on all major platforms (Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, etc).
I was fortunate to work with the best of the best: orchestrator-extraordinaire Jeff Kryka, thank you for your genius orchestrations (genius is an understatement), Paul Apelgren, king of pun and music editing, thank you for your endless creativity and sharp ears! Dennis Sands, the god of recording and mixing- thank you for brining such breathtaking mixes. I’m also very grateful for Vincent Cirilli’s masterful ProTools engineering!
Thank you to Booker White and his team for the beautiful scores & parts! Big thank you to the incredible AFM Local 47 musicians led by fantastic maestro Marshall Bowen who brought the best out of the orchestra. Very special thanks to Joshua Ranz who performed all the clarinet solos perfectly, and Belinda Broughton for her absolutely divine violin solos. You and the orchestra brought the Jewish soul into this score! Thank you so much Reggie Wilson & Connie Boylan for not only contracting the best cats in town but also for making the sessions feel like home. Thanks to the amazing team at 20Th Century Fox Newman Scoring Stage for making everything run smoothly: Erin Michael Rettig, Tim Lauber, Damon Tedesco & Peter Nelson. Also, thank you Curtis Green– you’re always there, always helpful! And special thank you to Pat Sullivan for her tasty masters.
…And lastly, my beloved Maria M Machado & Michael Giacchino, who believed in me and brought me on board this dreamy adventure- I love you, and I’m so grateful to have you in my life. I can’t thank you enough. You made my dreams come true.
The pickles are almost here! Happy to share the official trailer for An American Pickle which I scored last year. This project is my first collaboration with the legendary Michael Giacchino, who wrote the themes. I wanna say working alongside Michael is a dream come true but it’s actually beyond anything I could even dream of. Thank you, MG!
An American Pickle premieres on August 6th on HBO Max.
A classic tale of a guy falling in a pickle vat, getting brined, and waking up 100 years later in modern New York. Here’s the trailer for An American Pickle. pic.twitter.com/zGhZ6L9Olq

Excited to share that Absentia, the Amazon Original Series starring Stana Katic, returns for season 3 on July 17th, and will be available on Amazon Prime Video / AXN worldwide. It’s my favorite season yet and I’m so honored to have scored it!
It was wonderful to work with showrunner Will Pascoe, dir. Kasia Adamik and Dir. Greg Zglinski. Thank you Shin Miyazawa for your masterful score-mixing and Jacques Brautbar for your incredible additional music!
An American Pickle, starring Seth Rogen and… Seth Rogen, is coming to theatres in 2020, along with a very Kosher orchestral score we recorded at Fox last week. An American Pickle tells the story of an immigrant worker at a pickle factory who is accidentally preserved for 100 years and wakes up in modern-day Brooklyn.
The Short Trek I scored this summer beamed up to CBS All Access!! I’m forever grateful to composer Michael Giacchino who made my dream come true.
Q & A is set on the U.S.S. Enterprise and features Spock, Number One and… Pike! – check out Spock’s first day on the job on CBS All Access.
Q&A is the first Star Trek episode ever scored by a female composer, and I’m so excited to boldly go where no woman has gone before. The score was recorded at Warner Brothers. I’ll keep you posted on a soundtrack release.
