AN AMERICAN PICKLE RELEASED

#AnAmericanPickle, starring Seth Rogen is officially released, and I couldn’t be happier with the film and its kosher score.

I was fortunate to work with the best of the best: orchestrator-extraordinaire Jeff Kryka, thank you for your genius orchestrations (genius is an understatement), Paul Apelgren, king of pun and music editing, thank you for your endless creativity and sharp ears! Dennis Sands, the god of recording and mixing- thank you for brining such breathtaking mixes. I’m also very grateful for Vincent Cirilli’s masterful ProTools engineering!

Thank you to Booker White and his team for the beautiful scores & parts! Big thank you to the incredible AFM Local 47 musicians led by fantastic maestro Marshall Bowen who brought the best out of the orchestra. Very special thanks to Joshua Ranz who performed all the clarinet solos perfectly, and Belinda Broughton for her absolutely divine violin solos. You and the orchestra brought the Jewish soul into this score! This project is my first collaboration with the legendary Michael Giacchino, who wrote the themes. ABSENTIA S3 Release Date: July 17th 2020

Excited to share that Absentia, the Amazon Original Series starring Stana Katic, returns for season 3 on July 17th, and will be available on Amazon Prime Video / AXN worldwide. It’s my favorite season yet and I’m so honored to have scored it!

It was wonderful to work with showrunner Will Pascoe, dir. Kasia Adamik and Dir. Greg Zglinski. Thank you Shin Miyazawa for your masterful score-mixing and Jacques Brautbar for your incredible additional music!


Absentia Season 3 – Coming soon!

Happy to report I’ve been scoring the third season of Absentia, which will be released this year. It’s my favorite season so far. The storylines are incredible and I’m super happy to be back on board.


The pickles are out of the jar!

An American Pickle, starring Seth Rogen and… Seth Rogen, is coming to theatres in 2020, along with a very Kosher orchestral score we recorded at Fox last week. An American Pickle tells the story of an immigrant worker at a pickle factory who is accidentally preserved for 100 years and wakes up in modern-day Brooklyn.


Q&A Star Trek Short Beamed Up to CBS!

The Short Trek I scored this summer beamed up to CBS All Access!! I’m forever grateful to composer Michael Giacchino who made my dream come true.

Q & A is set on the U.S.S. Enterprise and features Spock, Number One and… Pike! – check out Spock’s first day on the job on CBS All Access.

Q&A is the first Star Trek episode ever scored by a female composer, and I’m so excited to boldly go where no woman has gone before. The score was recorded at Warner Brothers. I’ll keep you posted on a soundtrack release.


SUBIRA is Kenya’s official entry for the 92nd Academy Awards

The Kenya Film Commission just announced SUBIRA is Kenya’s official submission for the 92nd Academy Awards in the Best International Feature Film category!!
Very excited to have scored this inspiring film, directed by Sippy Chadha, derived from her own life story. Congrats to the fantastic team, especially editor Terry Kelly and producer Vibeke Nørgaard Muasya . It’s really exciting to be part of such an international team (Kenyan Director, Danish Producer, American Editor, Israeli composer)… Special thank you to the coolest musicians who contributed their talents to the score: Sonja Drakulich- Featured vocalist; Netanel Lesser- Oud, Ro Rowan- Cello; and Franklin Jones Jr.- Score Mixer.

Been working on “Absentia” season 2 for the last few months and our Amazon release is finally announced: June 14th in the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Austria, India, Israel, Italy, Netherlands,

Dead End Released on Kan (Israeli Broadcast TV)

Very excited to announce the release of the animated dark comedy show I’ve been working on, Dead End (‘Sof Ha’Derech in Hebrew). Created by my long-time friend and collaborator, Nir Berger, and my new friend and collaborator, Yael OzSinai (Mind the Gap Animation), the 10 episodes series follows two teenage siblings in a post-nuclear-war Jerusalem, searching for their little brother whom they lost in the aftermath of the bombing. They find that despite everything literally going up in smoke, nothing had really changed.
